Musical Expedition
Musical Expedition is a fun filled, day-long event held each year in April at the Dothan Brook School in White River Junction, VT. It is specifically geared towards children grades K through 6 to introduce them to orchestral instruments and voice.

Musical Expedition covers all elements of the musical world - from woodwinds to strings, from drumming to chorus. Families are taken on a guided tour of 'all things music' - each stop along the way is a 20-minute class in chorus, stringed instruments, wind instruments, and drumming. Additionally, introductory learning materials such as books, information about instrument rentals and private or group lessons are provided by local area music shops and teachers.

Brought to you by the Public Domain Foundation and the Upper Valley Music Center, Musical Expedition enables children and parents to discover the world of music together - as an enjoyable family activity, and also to help families make informed decisions about musical instruction.
Our plan is to offer Musical Expedition annually to area families. Please sign our mailing list to receive updates on our next event.
